The Secret to Great Gain...
"But godliness with contentment is GREAT GAIN.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content."
1 Tim. 6:6,7
As I study the topic of contentment for a Bible study I'm working on for my ladies' retreat next week, I came across some very pertinent questions:
1. Could I be content with only treasures in Heaven? (Matt 19:16-22) Would it be enough?
2. Am I discontented with the provisions Christ has given me? (Matt 6:19-21, 24-34)
Talk about conviction!
How much do you need, physically, relationally, and materially
before you experience contentment?
