I don't know what the laws are concerning homeschool in other countries. I am blessed to live in Ontario, Canada, where there is currently no restrictions. And so are my loved ones who have chosen to send their child to secular school. We are going to use http://www.landmarklfbc.com/ an American curriculum. It is very affordable for us at $200 US per year. As I said, my heart breaks for those of you who struggle in trying to educate your children the Bibe way. I believe that if you are honoring God's direction by faith He will honor you and provide. I will be praying that you can find a way to keep your son from the secular schools. God bless.

JulieThe Loveless Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11351373332326414104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7625035689502044719.post-88947122121422297062010-06-16T02:53:04.368-07:002010-06-16T02:53:04.368-07:00I am truly touched by your post :-)
Thank you for ...I am truly touched by your post :-)
Thank you for writting this down.
I have the thoughts of sending my boy to an outstanding however - secular school because it was free. We are not a weatlhy family so sending him to private school has never comes to mind.

But somehow through circumstances and prayer, God open a door for our son to be admitted to one of the fee-paying school, which is has a strong christian ethos. Unfortunately christian school here is nothing like in US, but this is the best we can get here.
I have no clue how we will pay his school fee in 3-4 years to come, but we really find peace in our choice and rest upon God to provide for us.

I've heard of homeschooling, something that very new to me and I believe it is illegal if you are local citizen in many Asian countries. I have to say I am very uncomfortable and skeptics that it will be as efficient as normal school, especially when parent (who is the teacher) comes from different/uneducated background are expected to teach complicated algebra, differential equation or electronics. I've tried to teach my self particle physics, french, piano, and tennis and it's proven impossible just to read it from the book, let it alone teach other. However if it comes in my native tounge I'll give it a go any try it :-)J.Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15472293292980352826noreply@blogger.com
